The Ona (formerly Gitpod) community was a space to learn about cloud development environments, connect with other developers, and build cool projects.

What I Did

  • •Built the community from 500 to 5,000 members in a year through strategic engagement initiatives
  • •Led a team of community engineers to ensure consistent support and a high-quality member experience
  • •Launched and managed the Community Heroes program, onboarding 30+ Heroes globally
  • •Launched the meet-up network, bringing together 350+ community members in person
  • •Hosted bi-weekly Office Hours for members to connect and learn
  • •Led and organized events and conferences including KubeCon, DevX Conf, and CDE Universe
