DevX Conf
DevX Conf is about developer experience, our daily experience when trying to get the job done. I organised and hosted the second virtual edition of the conference.
Conference Overview
DevX Conf was a virtual conference dedicated to celebrating and exploring developer experience. It brought together speakers and attendees from across the industry to talk about the tools, workflows, and practices that shape how developers build software every day.
The conference shone a spotlight on developer experience as a discipline, from internal platform engineering and tooling decisions to the small friction points that add up in a developer's daily workflow. It was part of the broader DevX brand alongside the DevX Community and DevXPod.
Format
- •Virtual conference: fully online, making the event accessible to a global audience of developers and DevX practitioners
- •Second edition: built on the success of the first DevX Conf, with an expanded programme of talks and sessions
- •Recorded sessions: all talks were recorded and made available for the community to revisit
My Role
I organised and hosted the second virtual edition of DevX Conf. This involved planning the event end to end, from curating the programme and coordinating with speakers to hosting the conference live and ensuring a smooth experience for attendees across time zones.
- •Led end-to-end planning of the second edition, including programme curation, speaker coordination, and managing the virtual event platform
- •Hosted the live virtual conference, introducing speakers and facilitating transitions between sessions
- •Worked with speakers from across the developer tooling and platform engineering space to put together a programme covering the breadth of developer experience topics
- •Managed the virtual production, ensuring a polished and engaging experience for a global, remote audience
